I was installing an amp into the truck. As we were looking for spots to bring the power wire though the fire wall. I noticed two rectangular things dangling just to the right of the steering wheel under the dash. They seem to operate the doors. Any idea on how to put them backtogether?

3 small screws hold em in place... 1 above the gas pedal... 1 behind the cig/ash tray another behind the glove box... More then likely they will be out of sync with the hvac switch settings... If they are activated while unmounted they become overclocked...

my defroster control arm falls off all the time. I just reach back under there and index it to the door shaft and voila, air is moving in right spots again.

If you are missing the two plastic retainers and spring, you won't be able to put them back together.picture.jpg

Well, if ya have, or can find the retainers and spring, you will have to remove both pieces,(easy), and put them together. Than install,(DIFFICULT!), both as one piece, top first, than bottom. Good luck. :Good or Bad:
