Hey guys, I'm looking to improve the ride on my 2013 Z71 Tahoe with new shocks. I don't necessarily care about leveling the truck at this point - looking to keep at stock height.

Would the Fox 2.0 Coilovers be overkill set at stock height? Or would going with a Bilstein 5100 be a better option? Any other ideas?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Easy go for Fox. So good of shocks but is it necessary maybe not. How good of ride do you want and is money an option?

Fox is probably closer to the higher end of what I'm willing to spend. I looked at Icon as well but they seemed more expensive. Any other suggestions in addition to changing out the shocks on all 4 corners? Springs for the rear? Just really looking for a smoother ride around town.

Thanks

I just added Bilstein 5100s all around and the ride is amazing. I have a 3.5 Inch Rough Country lift and was still running the factory shocks. Ride was getting super bad last couple of weeks so had to replace and I'm glad I did.

Awesome to hear.

Is 3.5" lift (probably not genuine height added) prevent you from entering parking garages now? How much taller did you really get?

If Moog springs up front... Do those jive well with the 3.5 RC kit?

I’m kind of in the same boat with my tahoe. What setting did you use for the front shocks and do you have a rake?

Install the kit yourself?

Doesn't look too bad but wanted to hear more about cutting.

So RC 3.5 and 5100s..? How much taller?

Have any pics? I'm considering doing the exact suspension setup
