Ok- I have made a detour on my road to wheelheaven....so this project is now available...if anyone is interested please shoot me a PM or email: [email protected]

These are 17" OEM Steel Tahoe/Yukon Wheels which I just had powdercoated (still with wrapping on them..never mounted) a brilliant Semi gloss Black with a clear coat added for durablity. I was going for the 'Police look' and these certainly capture that in spades! I also have a spare set of wheel sensors to go with these... If not I may just use these for my winter wheels!

Could see me rocking those for winter up north (though I live in Texas), or long road trips.
Too bad my 17" spindles won't allow for wheels that small, even after clearance mods.

Thanks-Yeah they came out Way better than I expected too...they were $60 per wheel for the double coat (Black and Clear coats!)
I may end up rockin these for my winters....but I have some 20" due in tomorrow that will also get the Black treatment for my dailys...stay tuned.

Those came out great...wonder if they make something similar in 18" or 20"

if you find anything similarly close in 20s......post it up!!!

i wish they had these in OEM 20s. makes me not even care bout 24s or 26s....until i switch out the cop look and go for the baller appeal.

oh by the way....anyone know what the fattest tire size would fit on these 17s? 285/75? i want a thicker tire to fill in the wheel space.

$60 powdercoating per wheel seems like a really good deal. I figured it would cost at least $100 per wheel.

I'm not sure how wide you can go on the 7.5" rim........

But I wish someone would make a 20 x 9.5 steel wheel...that would be sweet.

I'll post them here in a few more days the 20" alloys OEM should be half way done at the powdercoaters...so this time next week should be sweet! I went with Matte finish too!
