Do the headers allow for the 4wd to work?

I'm not 100% sure but I'll make them fit haha.

I finally got the rest of the parts needed for my TBSS intake swap... I even found some evap lines for the purge valve off of a NNBS/TBSS. Took me around 3 hours total with swapping injectors and cleaning everything. I just got most of it buttoned up before it started raining like crazy.

Now I'm just waiting for the rain to stop so I can drive it but I may just wait til morning so I can make sure everything is good

Also picked up some new tail lights and got all new trans cooler lines so I can finally install my new cooler

Man... it’s been a while since being here. I was going nuts for the last few months at my old job and ended up walking out. Didn’t really touch the Tahoe for a bit besides driving it here and there. It developed a nice little tap/tick that turned into hammering, then she got parked. Figured out the noise was lifter related so started ordering parts and decided to yank the motor to change all the gaskets while I was at it. But then this happened...



How the lifters and cam looked when coming out...



And here she is before heading to my engine guy




He tore it down and said the pistons needed to be recoated and it’s getting all new bearings and rings... also the block will be hot tanked and painted. I’ll be throwing a 2800-3200 stall 10” converter finally and all my other goodies that have been sitting around. Since the cam is done I went with a BTR Stage 4 cam kit with all the fixin’s and a tune is in order after she’s all back together.

Sounds like it's gonna be beastie. I just developed a tick also, hope it's not as bad as yours.
