Hello everyone, I’m a new member and would like to record and share my Yukon transformation process. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

I have a 2000 GMC Yukon, 5.3L V8 SLT 2WD

I have had her for 15 years and after 230,000 miles I put in a new transmission this past week.

Before I left for college in 2005

I have made a few mods since then and now that I have put in a new transmission I’m looking forward to renovating her and riding it till the wheels or engine falls off/out!

How she looks now!

I installed all new carpet.

Since I’m limited on photos for this post I’ll make more showing the installs and upgrades I have made.

Hope you all enjoy.

I’ll also be asking for suggestions and help along the way.

Blessings!

Welcome form the 915 El Paso,tx

Thanks!

Here are a couple more pics for you guys.

I removed the 60/40 split bench, kept the 40 chair and pulled an Captain chair from an Escalade. Will put a leather cover on it from The Seat Shop and then install.

I re-leathered the drivers seat with The Seat Shop leather covers. I’m thinking about installing a new seatbelt.

Welcome from the 305 Miami Beach!

Your 2000 GMC Yukon looks to be in excellent condition in and out. Especially with 230K miles. You definitely keep it well maintained.

Welcome. You've come to the perfect spot for suggestions! We love helping members spend some money :D. You're heading in the right direction with your mods. I suggest you start a build thread in the "Under Construction" section. In there you'll be able to document all of your mods, and have a record, along with the date of everything that you do to your Hoe. Good luck, and any questions, please ask away.
