Only works on 3, 4 and 5 Fan Won't blow air on 1 and 2. 2002 model Tahoe. Anyone else have issues like this. AC blows cold front and back. Is it something simple like a bad switch? Or something more?

Probably just the switch. You could take it out and test it with a multimeter.

I have that on my **** to do list but always find other things to do instead of pulling it out and checking it. Is this a common problem?

I haven't seen it yet in the 2000-2006 section but my friend has a 99 yukon and his fan blew hi no matter what speed the switch was on. Turned out to be a bad switch.

Thanks for the help guys. I pulled the switch out last night and checked it with a meter and it was good. Stopped by the local AutoZone this a.m. and picked up a resister. Got home and as soon as I got the old one out I could tell it was screwed. Problem solved.

Thanks again for the input
