I would jump all over the $100 offer to fix dashboard. Since I am past 100K miles, I was told to bend over and take in the rear like most others!

I see you're in Atlanta. Care to pm me the dealer for when mine eventually cracks?I noticed the crack near the airbag cover on the passenger side the other day. Stopped by the dealer who took one look and said "no problem-GM will do it for the $100 deductible." Truck is a 2010 with 132K miles. Interestingly, the wife's 08 Tahoe hasn't cracked (yet).
It's going in tomorrow....dealer says 1/2 day to complete and they are giving me a courtesy car to drive.
I don't think it matters where you live. More, who you complain to and how your dealer treats its customers. GM knows it has a problem, they just don't seem to desire a recall, not that you should be surprised by that. Cosmetics don't have a safety appeal. What is all this I'm reading? So GM is taking care of this for 100 to 300 bones, depending on where you live?
