Oh yeah, it is for an auto-trac t-case, np246.

Would this fit a 97 silverado reg cab? I'd think it'd all be the same...?

I would think as long as it's an auto-trac it should.

Ok so just to clarify. Auto trac is the 4 button option (2hi 4hi 4lo auto)? Or does it just mean 4x4 is electronic instead of a floor shift?

Auto Trac is the auto mode transfer case.

That kinda looks like the one i put in my floor 4x4 hoe lol. I didnt rely pay attention to make sure it was right i just bought it and slided it in and boom it worked
