Front end/ Steering issues

Hey everyone.

I just recently picked up some tires and rims off of a friend of mine for my truck. They are considerably larger than the stock and they look amazing on it. But I've noticed that when I'm on the brakes anywhere between 35mph and 45 mph the steering wheel goes nuts and the front end just shakes like there's no tomorrow.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this. And if anyone can tell me why it may be doing this. I really don't want to have to get rid of my newly acquired tires for this reason. Please help!

time for a brake upgrade... some one correct me if im wrong but ...the bigger tires are adding more rolling inertia and that takes more stopping power to get the right results, if you dont have upgraded breaks it will cause over heating and that causes warping, glazing, and heat checking.

That's kind of what I thought it was. And that actually makes complete sense.

I also wanted to get opinions from people about another little issue I have with the tires. Whenever I turn a corner the inner edge of the tire will rub on the outer edge of my wheel wells. I'd like to resolve the issue as cost efficiently as possible. I wondered if i could just use a leveling kit to bring my front end up a little bit. Or if i'd be better to get a small body lift to compensate for the room I need. Any input is appreciated.

I'll also take any suggestions/recommendations on what to go with for brake upgrades.
