Front fan not working (HVAC) plz help

Funny you should ask. Quit working again yesterday. Hit it today and it works again, for now.

I am having the same problem, I have replaced the resistor 3times. works for maybe 5 minutes and quits. The last one was the cut the wires and splice in, nothing. Tried swapping g the fan as well, no difference.what else can I do?

Have you tried a different control module ( the switches in the dash) ? You can find used ones on EBay. That’s what I would try next.

I was looking at some issues related to this recently, does your vehicle have a fan control module? this would be a separate module from the resistor

New person on this thread, same problem. I guess no one cares anymore since it’s winter time. Lol. I noticed mine wasn’t working on the way home from visiting my sister in Florida. While on the road, I just thought it was barely blowing air because it was at the temp set on the dash, well, after sitting at the gas station and getting some fries and quarter pounders, got back in and it didn’t have the normal increase in fan speed to get the temp down. Guess will be hunting up my fluke and poking and probing.
