If you still have up/down and tilt front up or back up you might be ok. Hopefully the seat is stuck where you can easily get to front or back bolts.

I don’t think there’s a way to move the seat besides the motor. The bolts to remove the seat are just 12-point even though they look like reverse torx. I know the seat has to come out to replace the motor, but I don’t know how hard it is to remove without being able to move it forward and back. Good luck, Im sure there’s a way.
Good to know about the bolts. I looked at them and thought I was going to have to find a special socket. I'm going to wait till I get back to WV to take it out. Figured I'd go ahead and shampoo the carpet while I was at it. Since it's a DC motor I'll tear into it while I wait for the carpet to dry. May just need freed up and a little lube. The passenger seat doesn't get moved much, so I'm thinking dust and dirt.

Just the foreword and backward was lost. Everything else works, so getting to the bolts shouldn't be an issue.

After saying that I've probably jinxed myself and it'll take hours to remove the seat now.

05 Yukon Denali.

Front passenger seat is stuck all the way forward. All the controls work except for the forward/backward control. I've pulled all the connections loose to check for corrosion and found everything ok. Checked for obstruction and have none. Pulled the side panel and all the wires are connected and the switch seems fine. As far as I can tell I have no dedicated fuse just for the seat. Any suggestions?

I'm also wondering if the controls off my 02 Suburban plugs are the same. My thinking is to remove the one from it and try it on the Yukon.
The tilt on my passenger side seat is stuck, the seat moved forward and back and the seat warmers work, any suggestions???
