Front wheel hub torque specs?

I've read from guys on here who didn't torque it enough and had to replace them within a year.

The hub bolts and spindle nuts are supposed to be one time use only too.

One of my Timken hubs failed at 70K miles. I proactively replaced the other at 84K while doing some other work the other day. Now we'll see how long the GM OE hubs last again.

... Which is why the correct torque is important. So if GM says 155, and everyone else says 177, is that a misprint in my FSM? Was it updated? Anyone else with a FSM that can confirm? (2002 Tahoe)

All of my manuals for GMT900s (pickups and SUVs) says 177 and the manual for a 2006 Silverado was also 177.

My Haynes manual for NBS lists it at 177 ft-lbs.
