my front driver side wheel sensor keeps flashing on the dash, telling me psi is as low as 19, than it jumps back to 36. than it goes away and comes back randomly at 23psi.i went and filled it up from 34 to 36psi this morning. but it's annoying the heck out of me! is there a remedy to solve this problem? is the sensor bad?

If the sensor continues to cause trouble the battery in it could be getting weak. The dealer in my area wanted $98.00 for one. I found one on ebay for $22.00. Also when refilling the tires don't forget to check the spare. I helped a relative change her tire and the spare was almost flat...never had been checked.

I did the reset procedure using the key for etc. tires are all at 30psi and no nag screen and dummy light. hope it stays that way. now I just need to get a new battery.

The problem I had only appeared when I hit the hiway and after an hour or so the service tpms would appear. If I stopped for lunch or for more than 30 minutes the warning would go away,,,,until I hit hiway speeds for about an hour then it would stay on until the next stop. The new sensor fixed the problem.
