Still thinking of just trading my LS in, probably for an 08 lt or ltz. What you guys think.

I don't see what's bad about that idea. Definite upgrade. I love my 08 LT3, I'm only missing Autoride.

07 (Dec 2006) LT2 Tahoe - No problems, put on 15k and then it was totaled in 2008 (see photo album). City driven

07 LTZ Tahoe - Only major problems were: My dad ripped the door off at a gas station and a (cheap fix) Service 4WD message. Mountain stored/driven. 30k miles, tow jetskis every Summer.

08 SLT Yukon - No major problems. Rear defroster cable fell off but was easily fixed. 20k Miles. Mountain stored/driven

09 Denali - No major problems I was aware of. Bought with 33k, traded in at 38k for one with lower miles. City driven.

09 Denali - No major problems I am aware of. Bought with 5k, now has 11k. City driven.

That's what i'm saying, trade her in, I talked to the dealer yesterday, and they don't know why the oil pressure sensors is going off, so now they have get into the engine. Enterprise finally gave me a traverse, this fu*&er is roomy. But not a tahoe. Oh well, I guess I have to wait to see what happens. Still looking around, the wife wants a cadillac srx, I don't know about that. It looks like the same size as a equinox, and I need the room. Keep Hoeing

That would explain why is still an ugly car, regardless of whoever makes it.. Still thinking of just trading my LS in, probably for an 08 lt or ltz. What you guys think.

I got an 08 LTZ and love it.. auto ride is probably the best thing about the LTZ... I drove to ATL a few months ago in a 2010 Suburban LS rental and mine is a way smoother ride... even with my 24s the ride is better then the suburban on 17s... i know it sounds crazy but I guess you have to ride in a LTZ then a LT/LS if you do test drive for a new vehicle to -feel- the difference in ride. Anyways, whatever you do, good luck and get rid of that money guzzling lemon ASAP.

You might be able to make a case (although VERY VERY difficult) under the "lemon" law.... my grandpa (who has nothing but time on his hands) got a brand new car due to the lemon law....

in a nut shell... if the factory cannot fix a re-occuring problem, they MUST BY LAW, give you a new vehicle.... now again, VERY hard to do and will consume a great deal of your time, but a new vehicle would be a worthwhile payoff.

Parting Shot - my grandpa got a new car due to an air leak in the rear window! NO SHIT! the rear window whistled like an SOB and he took it in multiple times. the did everything, including replace the entire door... nothing fixed it... so he got his glasses out and, via the lemon law, got himself a new car...

So, if you have the time, patience, and a viable case (I have never read the law), you could get a new vehicle out of the deal.

oh wait, another parting shot - my and my wife are long time Tahoe/Yukon owners. She has had one since the OBS! she bought an 07 denali, traded it in after only 8 months of ownership and said that is the last one she will ever buy! She hated everything about it, and it was nothing but problems. She now has an 04 tahoe... NBS FTW

I don't think there's anything wrong with the 2007s in particular, I think it's just a random thing that happens with every year of every vehicle from every maker....

I have 70k miles on my Tahoe and I bought it in June 2008 with 30k on the odometer. I have not had a single issue with it....NOT A SINGLE ONE! I've never had to take it to the dealer to have anything fixed, repaired, or replaced....

It's mainly city driven but I mix in the occasional road trip once every month or two. It's been an unbelievably awesome vehicle for me....
