fuel consumption 350 Vortec

Hey everyone im wondering if there is anyway to reduce fuel consumption i think its not normal ( i think )
i have 99 yukon and i drove it for about 5 hours top and i lost near half a tank !!!
so is that normal or should i do something about it

well if doing 65mph for 5 hrs that it 325 miles. if you say lost half a tank of which is about 15 gallons then you got about 21.6666666667 mph. stop complaining and take it as long as it gives it. not everyone gets close to those numbers.

Well sir I understand from your reply that it's a normal consumption ?

I wish I got those numbers. I average about 15-16 on the highway.

very above normal the original epa rating here was about 16-17 mph highway. so you are doing pretty damn well.

that's good to hear maybe im above average use because i use 75 octan which have lot of lead in it

hi once again im sorry to re-open my thread but i got my mileage its now 1035 mile for 15 gallons
so how can i know my MPG please ?

check your math to start. if correct then suspect an odometer issue.
