Fuel door fell off

Hello I have a 2014 Yukon. The other day my wife parked close to the gas pump and with the fuel door open I tried to walk around it and my gun caught the door and bent the door all the way back causing a dent. The door eventually fell off when I touched it he next door. It looks like the door was stuck on with double sided tape and three metal prongs (for lack of better word). I tried to get the prongs in. I can only get one side on (back or front). Any ideas?
