Long story short, replaced my fuel pump with one from autozone. bad idea? who knows but my fuel pressure reads 62 psi while cranking and it'll run for a few minutes then it'll stutter and shut off. I checked my relay prior to replacing the pump and the pcm seemed in control of the relay and pump. But why would I lose power like that? bad ground somewhere. I mean the pump is new right... I checked and even dropped the tank again to recheck my wiring and everything seemed to look fine but I know I am missing something. One thing I noticed was that my fuel pressure is at 51psi while the key is on the ON position and dropped as far as 48 psi after a while.

Leak somewhere? injectors perhaps?

What's your fuel pressure when it's about to die and also while it is starting to die? Did you just replace the fuel pump and it has been doing this ever since? If so, I'd be returning it and buying OEM!

fuel pump pressure is at 62 psi or so then shuts off and down to 52 psi or so. Im not sure but i think i can even hear the relay click and it dies.the fuel pump is brand new. I've yet to see a fuel pump go bad that damn fast but I guess anything is possible. Only code I was able to get was a P0300.

The saga continues.... so last night I was able to work on it again after taking a few days off and she started up and stayed on after I charged the battery. fuel pressure was at 62. Let it run for about 10 minutes then shut it down, took off regulator and started it back up. Turned on without a hesitation. Drove around for about a half hour with a few WOT runs and cruising at about 30.. then as I started to come back home it died at a stop light. I had power everything, even as I pushed the ***** around the corner.

So long story short this things a *****!! time to upgrade I guess!
