fuel pump problem?

Oh, and you or your friends reversed the costs. :) It's roughly $100 for the pump, and 3 hours of shop labor, or 6 if you're doing it for the first time on your own. I did mine by myself, asking the wife for help when I needed someone to laugh at me. Good times, good times....

also, I'd drop the tank, and look at the wires. Typically these pumps don't decline in efficiency before dying, they usually just quit completely. You might have a poor contact supplying less than adequate power to your pump.... But either way, if you replace the pump, you'll fix it, me thinks.
