Hey guys,
First off Im totally new not only to this forum but to 2 door Tahoes. This may be a pretty broad question but what are some big issues I should look for/be warned about for any year 2 door Tahoe with miles ranging from 100k-200k? If it makes it any easier most of the Tahoes Ive been looking at are 1996's. Let me know if you need anything more specific and I will tell you all about the few Tahoes I am interested in, thanks! :pepper:

Bought my 96 4x4 2dr LS in 2010 with 125k miles. I now have 190k miles. Items I've replaced in that time are listed below. This is pretty much the order I did everything in.

Passenger side window actuator
Stereo
Brake booster and master cylinder
Front brake pads
Radiator, waterpump, Tstat, and housing
A/C compressor along with other pulleys
Battery
U-joints
Power Steering Pump
Fuel Pump x 2
Rebuilt rear drum brakes
Replace driver side door latch
Barn door holders
Transmission rebuild (@186k miles)
Tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor)
Replaced whole exhaust system from headers back
All (4) O2 sensors
Passenger side window (big window) - Something randomly hit the window and shattered it while I was driving.
Minor body work for rusted spots
New Tires (got 70k out of my BFG all terrains)
Wheel speed sensors

Did all work myself with the exception of the transmission, fuel pump, and body work/glass.

My next project is to rebuild my steering, replace ball joints, and replace all bushings up front.
