Mine is a 94 k5 and it always does this and I never know if I have a full tank or if I'm outa gas. I've already had to get it towed home and based up because of the damn needle. I don't have the time to go and get that part replaced but I have to. Around how much does it usually cost to get it fixed?
for mine I just figure about 15 miles per gallon, and reset my trip odometer and when it gets near 300 to 350 miles I start thinking it's time to feed the little red head... it works for me. haven't run out yet (knock on wood)
