2015 Tahoe LT 185K, dry Texas climate, no rust whatsoever. Strong fuel smell on driver's side as well as inside the cabin when driving. No smell under hood or inside gas cap compartment. Slow start after sitting overnight. No codes. no visible leaks. Replaced Vapor Canister Vent Valve (GM 23481275) but did not resolve smell. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Seems like some owners have had to replace the Fuel Feed Hose (GM #84200271) because the plastic hose rubs against the undercarriage and causes a pinhole leak. Anyone experienced this problem? Smell is strong around tank.

That’s exactly what happened to my 2015 a couple of months ago. No drips, but residue on the tank. Hard to start after sitting a few hours.

Problem solved! It was the Fuel Feed Hose and it was the result of rubbing against the undercarriage. The GM replacement part has a braided cover over the plastic tube so the redesign should prevent the problem from occurring again. Hope this helps someone else.
