Good evening, I've got a 95 Tahoe and if you fill the gas tank up more than 3 quarters it leaks a lil bit the guy I picked it up from was saying the sending unit seal was bad possibly? has anyone ever had this problem before, aslong as I keep it below the 3 quarters of a tank its fine its, and when this happens it seems to be coming from the top of the tank too, thanks for the help

unknown at this time.
Not personally. It is actually the gasket for the fuel pump/sending unit assy mounting to the fuel tank. It is only a few dollars but your fuel tank needs to be removed to do it. Parking at large inclines can leak with less gas. Make sure your fill pipe is securely attached.

Yeah dropping that tank twice in a weeks time was ridiculous. Pretty sure when I had the pump out of the tank it dried out which caused it to seize up. Just make sure to use the Delphi pump and not a cheap off brand.

I try to stay away from the cheap stuff, always try to go with ac/delco or another good brand if they dont stock it
