Gauge Switch

I just did the 2002 esky switch to my 01 Hoe. Two questions, do you loose the message center when you do it and what about illumination.......the lights don't seem to turn on. All the other functions work fine, tach, speed, oil, batt. and fuel, and temp. Hope I didn't buy a dud.

Do all your other dash lights light up?

Stupid me, I just checked the illumination at night. They light up just fine. BUt still dont have "message center" and the gear selector is not on.....any suggestions.

Whats going on. The gear indicator comes on when I first start the Hoe up, then it goes out. Did I do something wrong. Bad cluster ? Does it need to be programed or something. HELP......
