Hey y'all, I'm new here, but I have an '04 Z71 and I recently put a 6" lift with 35" tires on it. Needless to say this thing is a dog now on the highway. It currently has 3:73 gears in it now and I was talking to an old timer who calculated the gear ratio to bring it back to close to what it would be stock so I'm running the same RPM as if it wasn't lifted. He told me 4:56's would solve this, has anyone done this to their Tahoe and what gear did you put in it to drive better on the highway? 4:56 seems too high to me, I was thinking 4:10's would work? Any input would help, thank you
