Gear swap ideas please? Repost

This is kinda a repost, I have an 05 5.3 Tahoe. I am building a race truck and want to know what a good ratio would be for acceleration with a 5.3, but also stick with decent mpg. I want a ratio that would be good low acceleration from stop but also good get up and acceleration at higher speeds. I think my truck stock has 3:73. I've been doing more research and found that out. I don't care much about towing as I normally never tow, other than a quad and or dirtbike every now and then. Please give suggestions. Thanks. Ps I also am not sure on the wheels I'm getting in future but wanna get started on performance. And also it rwd. Thank you

Maybe easier to focus on one thread. It would be easier to keep one train of thought even if u all over the place lol. It's a process.
