A well designed and functioning AT tire needs a sidewall to do its work, 45 is pretty low, a 5 inch sidewall. I wouldn't like any lower than 7 inches for all-terrain work. Alright, when you get some time on her we'll compare notes. These things love ethanol, find you some and have fun!

Well get to readin' George! LOL

Got some ethanol and so far she runs nicely on corn squeezins. Also pretty happy about the hill start for the boat launch and have some places the powertrain braking will be good to have.

That hill start assist thing took me a while to get used to. It does it anytime (even when not towing) you are at a stop and are on a hill. It just feels weird, letting off the brake but they're still on until you press the gas, then you can feel them release.

My usual driving doesn't include any hill starts. other than the boat launch. haven't been there yet this year. going to go find some hills and check it out.

While I was under the truck tonight I checked into the front differential noise some more. While holding the ring gear as best I could I turned the front drive shaft back and forth. I believe there is excessive back lash there than there should be. From the pattern on the heel side of the ring gear it appears the ring gear is too far away from the pinion. Does anyone else agree?
