Get a few inches higher

I want to get my 2wd a little higher off the ground i know its not a 4wd but i still want it higher anywhere from 4-6 inches what can i do i dont want to do a body lift as i dont like the look of those but what a reasonably priced range lift for my truck maybe around $500??? please give me some input

i would look into leveling kits , you wont get 4-6 inches out of it but (i know you said no body lift ) a mild 2 inch body lift with a leveling kit would give you about 4 inches , ive never personally shopped for a 2wd lift kit , so start shopping RCX is a good brand and has good prices superlift , cognito, FTS , dick cepek, Ect... look and shop at all these brands . and now that we have Rough countyr here as a supporting vendor maybethey can help you with a good deal

you can buy 4" lift spindles and blocks
