With our first snow happening today...i got to wondering.

How will my awd escalade do in snow with the chrome 22's on it. I have not been able to put the stockers on.

2002 escalade...22" wheels...low profile 305-40-22s

In the past my montero ran the same off road toyos all year and i never worried about it.... Im all new to awd...and sport tires on a fullsize suv.

Thanku all

My denali had 22's on it for the first 3 years that I owned it and it never had a problem with anything!! One of those years we had 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground and I didn't even get close to being stuck once!! Also would run my truck on the sand dunes a bunch of times, especially going up a sand bowl and it did great!! You should have no problems unless your tires are completely bald and will probably have a huge smile on your face!!

By the way, the denali is just like yours, 6.0 and AWD!!

Don't have 22's but I leave my stock 20's on year round and last year was my first winter with it--pretty mild winter but still got to test it out. These things tear thru the snow very nicely. I was out in 6-10 inches of snow everywhere are had zero issues getting to the store. And I'm on them stock all season Goodyears ;)

They should be fine its just snow. If it was rwd then i would leave it at home. Worst case is you have to back up a lil and go again its not a problem

Last Christmas we drove my moms awd escalade to Colorado with the stock bridgestones and we drove thru what I'd call a blizzard and we had absolutely no issues. My mom even commented how she felt way more in control of the car than she thought she would be.

With the AWD you should be just fine unless your tires are bald.
