Rent and utilities could easily be $1000 a month. I dont know what else he pays for but gas and car insurance could suck up another several hundred a month. $600 a week is NOT a lot of money in the real world.

age of 17! are you kidding me?

should be banking around 2 grand a month, so figure his gym is 30 bucks, phone 100, rent? 1000 bucks, gas and random crap 500 bucks still having about 400 bucks to play with here.

And i totally agree with you road1will, but for someone that age should be banking some money pretty damn easily.

All these guys have given some great advise. It took 3+ years for mine to get where its at today, and there's still a lot more to go. Start with the outside and work your way into the interior. You'll stay motivated once you see your truck turning heads roll'in down the hwy.

yeah maybe try to get a job at a parts store where you can get a discount, make a list for your family for christmas,b-day,grad..garage sales, convince your friends, relatives to upgrade stuff that they might have and try to buy it off them for a deal. junk yards, swap meets, you get the pic..a can of paint can make a big difference also.

with my hoe i had $1,000 set aside for mods when i bought it. instead of buying wheels, i got more bang for my buck by doing.....debadge, rack delete, billet grill, painted smooth vents, roll pan, hidden hitch, professional carpet shampoo, and supplies for a full tune up. now i have to wait a little while until i get wheels, but yeah i was lucky to do what i did within the 1st month of owning it.

like mentioned, make a list and estimated cost of that mod, set and prioritize, knock them out one at a time. Goals :)

X2, I don't have a ton of money to spend due to the fact I make minimum wage and only working part time currently. I have a B-Day coming up and so I did ask for some money for my truck.

Like it was mentioned above- Set a list, prioritize, and then get it done. You will be happy as you get one thing done at a time and it should give you some more push to make some extra cash for those other mods!

Good luck!
