I wonder if the muffler has a long break in period? It's not quite loud enough for me, but then again, most of the sound isn't making it's way all the way out from below the truck....

Correct me if I'm wrong but the noise being trapped under the truck would make it louder for you in the cab....?

Because I have an electric cutout and its loud but when I completely unbolt my exhaust its way louder when really it seems it should be almost the same.

Someone told me the longer the pipe and the more turns it makes the more power you lose...anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Well it causes more back pressure. Though you need back pressure for your low end torque. A daily driver needs that from stoplight to stoplight.

Yeah, I can hear it a bit in the cab but when I put the windows down and stick my head out the window, it's just not loud enough for me...lol
