GM Bulletin on aftermarket air intakes

I found the bulletin online and the important factor is if the filter is "over-oiled". So it really doesn't matter who's filter you use - even one you buy from the dealer, if you apply too much oil after washing the filter.

When the trans takes queues from the MAF, and these oil soaked filters have been documented to mess with it....
