Have any of you bought a Suburban LT or LTZ with a GM discount?
Already has a 12% cash back

I was told by a sales person that you do not get your GMS on such sales. He claimed that it was more then you would get from that. So for a short time everyone is getting a good deal he said.
I was looking at some of the deals on Laura GMC that had some deals for 12,300.00 off.

Just remember 12% of the msrp cash back means you still need to pay the full msrp in cash or through your bank financing. Gm is only making sure they get there money upfront as apposed to internal financing.

Who pays me the $8,567? I thought is like an instant rebate type... I have figured $62,828 - my trade $13,000 = $49,828 + tax=$$ and out the door.
Unless I could use the discount.

Its not a sale it's a rebate. You still pay the full 71 in full...then you get rebate. It's just their way of avoiding financing customers and dealing with losses due to folds

It's still a good offer but you're still paying your bank the interest on the rebate money essentially.

That's $428.35 BEFORE taxes in your case at a bank rate of 5%
