I custom ordered a Tahoe RST Duramax back in March from my local dealer. I took delivery end of April. I just received a check from the dealer today called GM Factory Price Protection. I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten a similar check in the mail? I'm not complaining but wondering if the MSRP or something dropped in price recently?

Thanks for any input.

I’m guessing that something you paid for got decontented due to the chip shortage.

I paid the MSRP price at the time of ordering. No other discounts or charges. One thing was when I went to pickup the vehicle my sales person was quoting me higher than what was on my order sheet. MSRP in April was around $400+ higher and destination fee was also $400 more. So I showed him the price difference and he adjusted the quote back to the original order price from March.

Im not sure what may have gotten removed due to the chip shortage. I still have the auto engine stop capability.

The check I received was $660.
