Trying to see what the app has to offer but once I login, I get the attached. Always shows updating and if I click on the Get Connected...get the OnStar reference. Setup OnStar yesterday for reference.

Unless you subscribe to connected Internet in the vehicle via OnStar, I don’t think this app will show you much of anything let alone use the functions on it

I have the in vehicle unlimited data plan and even with that this app is basically useless. If you subscribe to one of the onstar packages you can lock/unlock and remote start with the app but the data plan isn’t it.

I just tried to login and the app says “service unavailable” and system error so maybe the app has crashed or it’s being updated or something.

As Much as I hate paying monthly fees…in order to get the most out of this vehicle it is necessary. I consider it part of what I’m saving in fuel…

You will need to sign in with the same email as you use with onstar/gm. You may need to call tech support if that’s already done. Unlimited data doesn’t have anything to do with what the app offers. It’s based on services that gm is offering after the free period.

same thing mine shows, mine came with like 5 or 10 years of "connected services" which isn't anything much more than being able to schedule a service thru the app

Wife’s new 22 Blazer has remote start, location, status, etc for 5 years.

Then you don’t have your accounts connected/setup. Remote lock/unlock/start is free for 10 years.

The link that @Dcmaynor posted above. Also, I never paid for onstar in my 2018 suburban and used it all the time. Would start it from my Apple Watch almost daily.
