Hello all, I've decided to take up a new project. I want to put a nnbs did in a NBS Yukon denali Xl. I was wondering if anyone had any of these radios that they were willing to part with, so I can do some testing to make this work? I solved the secondary after market radio a couple months back so I'm reel ng confident I can solve this. :) Please let me know asap so I can build a how to thread here.

Pretty sure it'd not possible due to different data systems.

Like they said about installing an aftermarket CD player in the cdx spot on a Yukon/denali. Not to be a doucge, but if anyone is going to figure it out, it would possibly be me. I'm a software/electrical engineer in the automotive field.. So although it may may price some difficulty, I think it can be done. I've figured out a way to mimic class 2 data bus using arduino and raspberry pi. So with the system I have set up, I'm sure it would be splice and play.

Well good luck with it then. Probably have better luck finding a radio on ebay though.

Out of curiosity why bother? What does a nnbs radio do that a good aftermarket cant?

Overall, it looks clean/stock and keeps install price down. I have the Bose lux system with rse, so going complete aftermarket would be hella expensive. Radio alone alone is 400+ along with a new amp and rewire, plus new speakers to get it to sound just as clean as the stock system
