Going to do my first Engine Detail/Cleaning

Hey everyone,
Going to do my first engine detailing on my wife's stock 2009 Yukon SLT.
Just wondering if other than the Alternator or the Fuse box if there is anything else i need to wrap?

Actually I do my own detailing under the hood. And I never cover anything up. I just try not to overspray the alternator. I do it to my kon about once every 2 months and I have had no problem with anything and I have had it for 5 years.

what cleaner do you guys use and do you use a pressure washer?
