@W8TVI Are they white like 5000k or a little blueish like 6000k? & @BADRIDES I bought some of both types of the Sylvania's from Advanced Auto Parts before and they are good strong quality but not very bright. o

They look white just like the ones that @Fosscore has in his post, but mine seem to be much brighter than that (they are both 1200 claim to be lumen).
My HID headlights are suposed to be 5000K, but they are slightly bluer than those LEDs.
You should check out the user photos on the reviews for them on Amazon. The most common comment about them is "Holy crap, these are bright!".

When backing up in the daytime, I can plainly see my reverse lights reflected on the pain of other cars. At night, I'd say these things are at least as bright and have about the same throw as the stock fog lights they put on these trucks (at least with an aftermarket tail light assembly with a clear reverse light lens).
I've had mine for a month now, and I'm loving them.

Looking at the photo @Fosscore has in his post, my LED reverse lights would light up those two palm trees in the background.

Even if you don't buy LEDs for your reverse lights, at least get a set of aftermarket tail light assemblies for your truck. Even the stock bulbs get WAY more light out over the OEM tails. The OEM tail lights are garbage as far as I'm concerned.

I was planing on getting LED fogs to mount under my rear bumper, but with these tails and LEDs, I don't need to anymore.

Jdm Astars are the best for the money. My cousin has them in aftermarket clear Led tails. I have stock with Led reverse lights and the fluted lens kills the output big time.
But if you wanna spend coin get vled v3 triton bulbs for $80+ a pair.

These are actually $130
Best and brightest led bulbs in the world. I wish I could afford some switchbacks from them.

Again jdm astars are the brightest and offer all the sizes. I know they offer amber, white , red. Make sure you get the right deal specific bulb for drl that's is 4114, do not get 3157 or 3156. The rest are 3157 (reverse, turn, brake)
Usually looking to spend roughly about $20 a pair.

Why not 3157's? That's the bulb size for reverse lights for an 02 Tahoe.

Love my Spyders. These are the red ones. Put an LED reverse light in there and even with the 5%, the visibility is good. Super bright IMO when you unlock with the key fob and the look is great too.

The stock taillight has the reverse bulb in the middle of the light. The Spyder's have it on the bottom. So do you put your reverse bulb socket into this slot?
