Coming from an OBS Tahoe anything stops pretty darn good, I am going to need brakes at some point on my 04 Escalade, what is a good setup to run? Pretty much a DD don't tow with it, ran R1 Concepts slotted rotors and ceramic pads on the Tahoe and it stopped pretty good, this truck stops good atm are stock pads and rotors good on these trucks or is upgrading still a good idea?

Gmt900 front end upgrade with your previous brake setup would not be bad. I think u already have hydroboost on that truck so it should stop well. I have their premium slotted rotors/ceramic pads on my 05 GTO and it stops better than stock.

My plan is to go with NNBS calipers and rotors in the front. They are 13" (vs our 12") with bigger calipers and more pad. That plus braided lines ought to set me up nicely.

Pretty reasonable price wise.
