I too think he's full of B.S. why post an ad saying 1000 then when I ask him what price he's looking to get he immediately jumps up to 1600. In that case he should've just put 1600 to begin with... I live like 6-7 hours from Dallas but would've been willing to drive there for them. 1600 for someone in town over there would still be a good deal.

Yes good point. He states in his add that it cost him 1100 for rims and 600 for tires. Hmmm...1100 for those rims do sound like the replica price.
