I received my Range today. I plugged it in and took the Hoe for a test drive. No more rough idle, the V8 to V4 shudder is gone, and a CEL light turned off. This is the best $ I have spent. Before I ordered my Range I made an appointment for the oil consumption test. The dealership told me its normal to add 3-5 quarts in between oil changes. Really!!!! 3-5 quarts. Now I'm hoping this will fix the oil consumption issue. I wonder if I should still go forward with the test.

Depending on the year of your rig there may be the updated valve cover/pcv system update for you to do for the oil usage, although I know the AFM caused usage as well.

You would have to probably google it but I believe the year breaks were 2007 to 2011.

Its an 07 and I still have the old model. I recently changed my valve gaskets.

Well then you need the new design valve cover, left side, and that also will help with oil usage.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the valve cover issue about? Does my 07 Denali XL have the issue? Does the catch can eliminate the problem (obviously doesn't correct the oil getting into pcv, but stops it from getting back into intake?)
