GM runs hot water through the Throttle body housing to prevent icing in cold weather , if you don't drive in cold weather or live in warmer climate you can bypass the coolant hoses that run to throttle body at your own risk of course it's there for a reason , a simple hose splice and 2 clamps will do it , also install a couple vacuum plugs on TB hose connections to keep dirt out .
