First off, no carburetor on our trucks, and you are too vague! Any check engine codes? Did you crisscross wires at a tune up?! More info please!

I'm with 99Yukon_Z71 on this...
  • Carbs were a thing of the past (unless you've retro'd your engine) starting with the 1996 model year.
  • Make sure all of your wires are run properly and aren't grounding out/arcing (night time would be the best time to check for this).
  • More information is needed to help you troubleshoot.
If you have recently done any work on the ignition/motor/sensors (cap/rotor, plugs/wires, O2 sensors, etc), retrace your work and make sure everything is correct and that all connections are tight.
