So yes, I will sell the full intake system in the spring (air box,filter, tube, ported LS7 throttle body and the intake manifold)

No, I'm not going to cut it in half. I'm just opening up the front and gasket matching the runners. Plus, the intake shown is not what we have on the Gen4 motors.

Well here is more pictures of where I'm at this moment with porting. I cleaned up the opening more.....smooth all the way back and now I have 2 of the 8 runners done. It's going quick now that I have a system down.

Correction: that was a Gen4 intake......I didn't look at it that hard FML

I could find a calculator and figure out the additional volume added........but I'd rather keep porting.

Looking good... I am interested in where this improves performance.... what I mean is, i wonder if it will create more power at lower RPM or higher RPM... my guess would be at higher RPM but not sure... maybe just evenly across the board.

Anyway I look forward to hearing what you think about it when its done.

Since you're just moving air there, you'll want to polish where you cut as much as possible. You probably know this already, just wanted to point it out, in case you don't.

How does the tow haul shifter work out? I know it is a direct bolt on deal, but does it require any programming to work, or does it activate the tow haul mode as it should right our of the box?
