Working out a custom android head unit using a tiny / micro pc (like lenovo m600 w/ J3710). I know I can get gps nema stream using a USB dongle, and there are usb and serial adapters as well. But, our vehicles have gps already for onstar to use. Anybody figured out how to pull / intercept the datastream?

And since am asking, has anyone seen *any* 3rd party hd radio receivers? of course, would be more readily able to use a usb / pcie solution, though may be able to extract hardware information from turnkey head units.

Not sure if you're asking about just Android radios, but if not Kenwood makes some HD head units.
