Is there a difference between the Go Rhino, Westin, and Aries, Steelcraft grill guards? They all four seem to be exactly the same

Some are bolt together. Some are one piece welded.

The one I had way back when was one piece.

Also some go in place of the tow hooks. Best to retain them of course.

I see, they all look like the mount in place of the tow hooks, can you elaborate on that, do some mount under the bumper and do you know which ones retain the hooks?

All of them mount through the OEM front bumper to the frame. As for which ones retain the factory tow hooks, best to call the manufacturer and ask. Very few of them actually provide that info online, why I don't know.

it install those you loose the front tow hooks. The hooks are bolted in the frame and you just unbolt it and slide the bracket for the grill guards in place of the hooks and bolt that in. If you need to tow or pull something you can just wrap it around the bracket of the guard. Ive done that a few times

Gents - I was given this bull/brush/grill guard for free - came off a 2000 Suburban. I have a 2002 Tahoe. I removed my hooks and when I lined up the bumper "cut out", the mouting brackets do not line up where the hooks went through the OEM spoiler. Does anyone know this type or name brand of this mount? What about a recommendation for mounting kit? As you can see this mounting is horizontal when I think most of todays are vertical mount? Also, since this has primer all over it - what finish are these - satin? semi gloss? flat? Thanks in advance
