whats the advantages and disadvantages of the 5.5 vs. 6.5? whats the difference in flat and CCS?

5.5 puts more pressure on a smaller area. it takes longer to do, but the results are better.

ccs slows the rate of product absorbtion in the pad, thus preventing waste. it has little "pockets" in it to collect the polish

from what i've read, yes. ccs is superior. it's all really personal preference. either will be fine.
