That shift reminds me that I need a tune. I think I could shift my old SM465 in my R30 faster than my Burb shifts.

I found conflicting info on what part does what, but trans mods are Corvette servo, Sonnax Fourth Gear Super Hold servo, ACDelco "Long" Apply Pin and whatever was altered in the tune. The tuner told me specifically that he doesn't just crank up the line pressure to speed and firm up the shifts like a lot of novices.

You have a 4 speed? Mine is a 6 speed. I didn't think I could do a servo.

Miles? Pfft. 200K on mine and been beating on it since 146K. Cammed it, raised the compression and am now beating on it harder. There's only one way to find it's limits...
I'm at almost 50k more than you my friend

Hey nice build thread! I been searching about corvette servos here and your name keeps popping up! I was wondering how the install went with the longer pin? I think I read you had 1/8'' of travel on the servo before you put the longer pin and corvette servo in.

Thank you!

You've been searching? As in, using the site's search function? Interesting... lol

The pin install went great. It was a direct replacement. I fully expected it to be too long and I'd have to remove it and grind some off the tip. But, the travel was within spec, although at the bare minimum. I don't remember how much travel I had before, but I wanna say it was at the maximum allowable. 1/8" sounds about right. I've put about 1,100 miles on it with plenty of WOT from a dig and from cruising speeds- trans hasn't skipped a beat.
