Do you have a frozen u-joint at the pinion then?

Tried the drive shaft and it wouldn't turn . Disconnected the drive shaft and it moved . So did the drive shaft at the transmission
Im not even sure what you are attempting to say here. When "tried the driveshaft" did you have rear wheels off ground and tranny in neutral while turning the driveshaft? Where exactly did you disconnect the driveshaft from? Tranny end or differential end?

Yep u-joint on the rear differential was toast . Also my emergency brake pads were toast will thier gone no pad and down to metal . All fixed now .
