I don't disagree with that at all and at a price of $20k he's out of his mind if he thinks he'll get that or if someone buys it at that they should be locked up in a mental word. I was just pointing out that if someone had a rig that looked like that but had NO skills or tools to do that work themselves I could easily see how someone could pour $40k into it. If someone were to drop of an all original 95 2-door hoe at a body shop today it'd cost $8k to get just the body work done and painted. Then drop it off at yet another shop for the suspension work, yada, yada, yada and it all adds up.

why put so much money into it and sell it? you will never get what you put into it out of it ever. period. maybe in about 40 years... it does look nice though, that's more of something you do for yourself and keep it.

thats the way of the car/truck world. You build a car put tons of money into it, then sell it for less then you have in it. (there are exceptions of course)
