Just saw this! I had the same problem on a 2015 suburban on a family trip this summer to idaho. Hard start on first start of morning and fuel smell. Started it and fuel leaking from gas tank underneath. Turns out fuel line on top of fuel tank had a hole in it n spraying everywhere! Had to drop fuel tank in hotel parking lot with help from a mobile mechanic to replace line!
